롤러블레이드(Rollerblade) 퓨리(Fury) Official Review W Pictures Review / 사용기 & 인터뷰

Hey Guys,

I have been going back and forth looking at some new skates, most way out of my price range currently. Well, when I saw the Rollerblade / Bladerunner Fury skate and the great price, I decided why not give it a try. In this post you will be able to see pictures of the skate along with my first impressions of skating them today and the quality of them.

Ok first up, here they are right out of the box. I personally think these skates look great, and the black and white colors is like a tux, never out of style.

Here's a picture of the sole and H block for those of you wondering about the size like I was. I think there is enough space.

Next up is the liner. I was actually really impressed. It's not bad, not great, but definately similar to all my previous skates. The most impressive part of all is they actually include a really thick shock absorber in the heel like more expensive skates.

The frame is the closest thing I could find to a Kizer slimline for a flat setup with enough spacing between the h block. This frame can fit 60mm wheels and still has plenty of space to grind without getting hung up. The wheels are awesome and really help the skate glide because of their large diameter and 92a rating. They are great for street. 8mm hardware is used, and the frame is UFS.

Here's what they look like on me.

Ok so here's my impression after skating them for a couple hours. I'm going to tell it exactly like it is, I'm not biased for or against these skates. I bought them as an experiment.
Ok, so they are solid and a bit on the heavy side. I personally like the feel of a solid *thud* sounding skate. The abec 5 bearings they came with make no noise, and the skate sounds like an expensive skate, not the cheapo special it is priced at. The skate rolls really smooth and fast, no complaints there. Landing jumps feels pretty darn nice, no smacking pains or shocks...probably thanks to the thick shock absorber in the heel.

Like I said, there is plenty of space to grind on the H block even with the 60mm wheels thanks to it's bias similar to the Kizer slimline. The sole has enough space as well. However, here is where I suspect there to be an issue. First, there is no backslide plate at all, and if you create one yourself you will soon be wearing into the actual boot. That leads me to the next issue. The soles are way to thin to last. I suspect these skates will be done way before a year goes by for most intermediate skaters.

My final gripe with the skate is in regards to the sizing and heel slip. First off, I wear a US 12 shoe and I ordered a US 12 skate. It's noticeably too big, not enough to warrant a return, but I possibly should have gotten a 10. Yes, two whole sizes down because thats when the shell would have jumped sizing. If you are the first size of a shell grouping, these will be way too big for you. Also, and I honestly don't feel this is due to mine being a bit on the large side, I want to mention there is quite a bit of noticeable heel slip. I don't have narrow feet by any means, and I atttribute this to the lame laces these come with. They are way too thin, the lacelocks at the top don't work for me (maybe I don't understand how to use them) and I believe this is where the heel slip comes into play. I could tighten the top strap buckle (which has a nice metal latch) and eliminate some of this, but I like to have lots of flex to bend my knees so I will roll these with the heel slipping a bit for now.

Here is the most important part to this whole skate, the price. I paid $99 bux for this skate brandnew from Yes, 99 bux. I have owned many skates in my time, and I can honestly say I was expecting to receive garbage for this price. These skates feel and skate as nice as $250 dollar ones I have had in the past, and that's no joke. The soleplates will wear too fast, but even when they do, you can't even buy a full 8 wheels, bearings, and a decent frame for less than what I spent for this entire skate.

I wanted to write this review and post pictures for anybody else who is a beginner and looking to get into a decent skate at an amazing cost. Let me know what you all think, or if you have any experiences with these to add, please do.

아무리 좋다고 해도 이딴 건 안 산다~ ㅎㅎ
