Beat the Chump is a line format skate competition. First one took place a decade ago, and featured a lot of the same skaters.

This one at the same location, but newly revamped skatepark was pretty entertaining. Lots of rollerbladers showed up and had a good day. Aaron Fienberg even strapped up the blades for a bit, but was done skating as soon as I came.

Brandon Wheeler did an amazing job and took first place with his deadly disaster tricks over the channel.
