TRUST Spec Ops Liner black

The Special Ops liner was developed to meet the fit requirements of narrower skates and exceed them in most full hard boot skates allowing skaters to unlock and explore a new world of options in their skates.

Construction started with an unconventional one piece design as a base that was improved upon using high density foam which allowed for less than 4 mm of material to be adequate in most areas. Strategically placed visco-elastic memory foams were used in the cuff, tongue and ankle areas to increase support and comfort all while maintaining the heel lock and durability that Trust liners have become renown for.

Other features include an anatomically shaped foot bed with an integrated heel pad and an optional 3 tier lacing system. Tacky PVC waves were printed on the bottom and sides of the exterior to reduce slippage and liner lift. A large elastic neoprene toe area was added to prevent your toes from being confined to the shape of the liner which also enables the Spec Ops to be highly versatile and accommodate a wider variety of feet that may be in-between sizes. The overall minimalistic design and careful selection of materials helped to reduce the weight to half of a traditional thin liner making the Spec Ops by far the lightest aftermarket liner ever made.

The end result is a carefully refined and fine-tuned product that goes above and beyond what you have come to expect in a liner.

So the Spec Ops liner is made especially for downsizing the shellsize or when you between 2 shells. Here an example: If you have a RAZORS Genesys Boot in size US 10(43), it is shell size 3 (US 10-10,5/43-44). Now you can take a TRUST Spec Ops liner also in size US 10(43) but put the liner into the next smaller shell, which is shellsize 2 (US 8-9/41-42). Please also check our "Sizing Conversion" image above. So your boots are looking much more smaller and are more light than before. And the super slim Spec Ops liner will give you still the comfort and support you need to ride in a new world of skating now.

The keys are yours, unlock the world.

Attention: These liners will not fit properly if you size them true in standard hardboot skates (Valo Standard & Remz excluded, here you size them true into the regular shellsize, check the "Sizing Conversion" image). If you trying to put a size US 9 (42) Spec Ops liner in a size US 9 (42) Razors SL for example, you will have less than desirable results. You need the next smaller SL shell for a perfect fit. Please check the "Sizing Conversion" image above.

The wait is finally over, brand new liners, dubbed the Trust Special Ops Black Liners from the dudes over at Trust. Now their previous Trust liners, the Trust Catalyst Liners were one of the most overly padded liners ever, making the break in time rather lengthy. This time Trust decided to go in the opposite direction, going with a thinner style liner. A thinner style liner will make your skate alot more responsive since the distance between your foot and the actual skate will be pretty close. Now don’t get the wrong idea the padding that these liners are made of is some of the best material i have ever seen. At first the liners may seem too thin when your initially holding them, but once you put them in your skates you will notice that they are the perfect thickness. The foam they are made of is kind of like a memory foam kinda thing, where it mold to your foot, reducing pressure points and friction. The liner is also rather stretchy and elastic, so they form up perfectly to your foot. And if your in between shell sizes you can most likely size down to the smaller shell size with the addition of these liners. Make sure you check out the video Trust made, and there’s some extra pictures and information below:
